#9 Locate a few useful library related blogs and/or news feeds.
There are many search tools that can help you find feeds. Among them are:
- Library Weblogs is a listing of Library Blogs worldwide.
- The Internet Public Librarian’s Library, Librarians, and Library Science Blogs
- Topix.net - This search tool allows you to locate recent newsfeed items based upon keyword or phrase searching. The tool focuses specifically on news and media outlet RSS feeds for information, not weblogs.
- Syndic8.com - Syndic8 is an open directory of RSS feeds that contains thousands of RSS feeds that users have submitted.
- Technorati - Technorati is a popular blog finding tool that lets you search for blogs. Since RSS feeds are inherent to all blogging tools, Technorati Blog Search can help you find RSS feeds for topic specific blogs you may be interested in.

Greetings. I have Firefox as my web browser and it is SO easy setting up RSS feeds through Firefox and their Sage Reader. I have signed up for the following feeds: Reading Rants (a teen book site), Read Roger (the editor of Horn Book), Salon.com (for news), Technorati (why not), Book Lust (Nancy Pearl’s site), and …drum roll…The Boston Red Sox for news and updates. I will now be spending each and every day reading my feeds!!
